HYPE (Hungry Young Professionals Engaging) is an ERG based in the Lousiville, Kentucky campus. One of my proudest achievements with KFC was being a part of the team that successfully launched our first global ecommerce platform. This project was a massive undertaking that required collaboration across multiple functions, markets, time zones, and partners, but we finally made it across the finish line in September of 2021! This new ecommerce experience will allow us to move more quickly to keep up with (and exceed!) our customers’ expectations. I’m so excited to see how this platform continues to evolve over time and make the ordering experience even better for our customers around the world.
My allyship journey is a constant work in progress as I believe there is always room for improvement and self growth in this space. With that in mind, I consistently make an effort to learn from and listen to others around me who have different backgrounds, experiences, and perspectives than my own. I enter conversations and relationships with an open mind and commit to creating a safe space for those around me.
Not to be biased or anything :) , but I really believe KFC has made amazing strides in this space both domestically and abroad. I am proud to work for an organization that values the positive impact it can have on the world and can’t wait to see what the future holds.
This is a tough one! Does anyone ever REALLY know what they want to be when they grow up? But in all honesty, I truly enjoy working at the intersection of technology and the customer experience. Working on the platforms that enable and enhance how our customers interact with our brand is an exciting and fulfilling role. I have also been lucky to work with and learn from many of our international market teams, and love seeing how collaboration and know-how can move across teams and continents.
