KFC Names Global Chief Brand Officer

PLANO, TX (September 3, 2026) – KFC Global today announced that Amy Ellis Durini will join KFC as Global Chief Brand Officer (CBO), reporting directly to Scott Mezvinsky, KFC Global Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective November 1, 2026.

In the newly created role, Amy will lead KFC’s global brand strategy, overseeing brand, loyalty and retail, as well as new concept development and innovation – creating relevant and distinctive ways for KFC to engage with today's consumers. Amy will also partner closely with KFC's CMO community across markets, working closely with marketing leaders to continue modernizing the KFC expression and experience around the world.

Amy joins KFC from Taco Bell International, where she most recently served as Chief Marketing and Strategy Officer. In that role, Amy worked closely with markets to bring the magic of Taco Bell to consumers around the world, shaping how the brand showed up across marketing, digital, value and the broader consumer experience. She also helped bring to life some of Taco Bell International’s largest campaigns and cultural moments, including Encore Hours, Crossbar Bong, Live Mas Club, while expanding Taco Con to bring franchise partners, marketers and Taco Bell teams together from around the world to share and learn from one another. Before joining Taco Bell in 2021, Amy spent eight years across KFC Global and Latin America & Caribbean.
