KFC x Fashion Collaborations

KFCDistinctively KFCMarina P.August 05, 2021

In honor of the new KFC x Amos Ananda collaboration (learn more here) coming out of Singapore, we’re throwing it back to some of our favorite fashion collaborations. Fun, fashionable, and totally wearable, these collections have us wishing they weren’t limited-edition items!

Human Made x KFC Capsule Collection

In 2018, KFC US joined forces with fashion designer NIGO of the brand Human Made and Hypemaker (Hypebeast LTD's global creative studio) to create a one-of-a-kind collection of quality fried chicken streetwear for the fashionable, finger lickin' hypebeasts of the world. The Capsule Collection included a Colonel shop jacket, 70s style racing jacket, hoodies, t-shirts and more ranging from $20 to $375.

KFC x Karl Lagerfeld’s limited-edition chicken bags

Yup, you read that right. THE Karl Lagerfeld collaborated with KFC China to produce two limited-edition bags to celebrate KFC’s 80th anniversary. Playing on an original Karl Lagerfeld design, the central Karl Lagerfeld logo was replaced with Kentucky Fried Chicken, and Paris replaced with Kentucky.

SANDALBOYZ

Los Angeles-based SANDALBOYZ is a (self-described) “culture and movement…inspired by musicians in the studio, surfers at the beach, and athletes before/after the game.” The brand collaborated with KFC Indonesia on a collection of sandals and apparel inspired by our shared values. SANDALBOYZ mission includes embracing uniqueness and individuality – much like KFC’s commitment to believe in all people and encouraging employees to be their best self.

#PackMoreIntoLunch Campaign

London-based menswear designer, Katie Eary teamed up with KFC UK & Ireland as part of the brand’s #PackMoreIntoLunch campaign demonstrating how much can be done in a lunch hour. The designer took up a challenge to create a capsule collection in just an hour for Spring 2016. The result, 13 looks, worn by 10 models in a catwalk show at the Old Truman Brewery in London, was pretty impressive (if we do say so ourselves!).
