The biggest thing that comes to mind is making it out of 2020. I know most can relate, but being hours away from my family and not being able to physically see them for almost a year in quarantine was truly a test of faith.
As a co-lead for Yum's diversity BRG, UNITE, I get the opportunity to support various cultures and ensure underrepresented minorities feel seen and heard!
Oprah Winfrey. Oprah came from nothing and became a major success. However, the major reason is that she continues to give back and create resources to all those who are less fortunate to have resources she did not growing up. She actively works to break the cycle of generational curses in the African American community.
I grew up traveling the world touring with a boys’ choir. These experiences cultivated my love for diverse cuisine and people alike!
