Franchisee Celebrates 100th Restaurant Opening

We are thrilled to announce the opening of our Franchise Partner, Restaurant Development's (RD), 100th restaurant – and newest flagship location – in the hip Ekamai neighborhood of Bangkok.

This gorgeous restaurant features self-order kiosks, a digital menu board, and an expansive roof that boasts a design inspired by digital waves. The pandemic has also reinforced the importance of having robust digital and drive thru options for customers so the restaurant has several features dedicated to the increasing demand for food delivery and off-premise dining, including 24/7 drive-thru ordering.

Restaurant Development (RD) selected the Ekamai district of Bangkok for this flagship location as it’s a popular hub for both locals and expats alike with many offices, restaurants and a dynamic night life scene.

The exterior of the building features the brand’s bucket logo directing customers to the main entrance. Additionally, the exterior colors and lighting of the flagship offer a modern take on the signature KFC red and white and are designed to be optimized for both day and night. The restaurant has also been able to celebrate Pride Month through the exterior lighting colors as can be seen in the video below.
