Megan Verret currently serves as the Chief People Officer for KFC, where she is responsible for identifying and nurturing top talent, building the people capabilities required to run world-class restaurants, and championing KFC's heart-led culture globally.

Prior to this role, Megan was Vice President of Global Talent for Yum! Brands Global Restaurants, where she led teams focused on succession management, executive leadership development, gender equality and people analytics, all aimed at building exceptional people capabilities worldwide. Megan also served as the General Manager of Heartstyles, Yum! Brands’ character-driven leadership development program, helping thousands of leaders across the company drive great performance by leading with heart.

Over her 25-year career with Yum! Brands, Megan has held numerous HR leadership roles across both Yum! Corporate and its iconic brands. Her expertise spans organizational development, change management, restaurant training, employee relations, and talent acquisition. She is particularly passionate about organizational design, coaching, and fostering a culture of inclusivity.

Megan holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Organizational Psychology and resides in Louisville, KY, with her husband, Alex. They are proud parents of three adult children.
